Organic Intelligence: When AI Meets Biology

Machine intelligence and living systems are converging faster than most industries realize. Algorithms now help design the conditions that grow EpiBone's living bone grafts; protein-folding models are compressing decades of biology into months; and cells themselves are being programmed like circuits. Nina has worked on both sides of this convergence — she started her career engineering telecom networks before she ever engineered tissue — and she makes the collision vivid, concrete, and navigable.

This talk gives audiences a working map of the AI-biology frontier: where the breakthroughs are real, where the hype outruns the science, and how organizations far outside the lab — insurers, manufacturers, investors, software companies — will feel the impact.
